3 in 33

I've finally made my target of running 3 miles in one go, that I've been building up to gradually for the last few weeks.
It's a little milestone on the long route to the 26, but I was quite chuffed to have done it. And yes, it felt good!!!

Mile 1 - 10m24s
Mile 2 - 11m23s
Mile 3 - 11m13s

Total 33 minutes. Averaging 11 minute miles would be a sub 5-hour marathon which is my "2nd" target.

Target 1 - just to finish (however long it takes!)
Target 2 - to finish in under 5 hours
Target 3 - to finish in under 4½ hours
Target 4 - to do it in 10 minute miles, so about 4h20

Going back to the smoothie thing.....read the back of a couple of well known brand of smoothie cartons and get some 'not wicked' ideas. My favourite is the breakfast one!
Good luck

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
