4m59s

I went out for my new daily "5 minute" run again yesterday. It's good, once I get over the feeling that it's hardly worth going out for such a short run. Ideally I should be doing half an hour of exercise a day, right?
Running for 5 minutes every day is actually really good though. It's something I can do every day, even if I'm not feeling like a run. I know that such a short run is not going to last long, so I have no excuse not to get out running every day. And because I'm not running for a couple of miles (or cycling for over half an hour), it means I have plenty of time to juice up some more carrots!!

Back to the bike and a longer run at the weekend, but for now - the new daily run is now a regular part of my get-fit programme.

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
