4 in 21

I went out for another 4 miles this evening, this time in a no impact kind of exercise, as I wanted to take a day off running, but didn't want to miss out on maintaining the get-fit regime I'm now on. I cycled the same 4 miles that I ran yesterday, in 21 minutes. Although my bike's convinced it's over 4.5 miles!

4.52miles in 20m55s averaging 13.2mph and a top speed of 22.2mph.
Lap times of: 5m08s, 5m21s, 5m12s, 5m14s

I'm quite happy that my "mile" lap of the village may in fact be over 1.1 miles - as it means that the runs that I'm doing are actually better than the running times I am recording... which should mean I'm doing better than I think I am!

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
