Very easy does it...

Distance: 1.5 miles
Time: 15m25s
Mile 1 - 10m09s
Half Mile - 5m16s

Nearing the end of my Training plan: Week 1. This called for a day off yesterday. I was hoping to get a gentle run in, but in the end chose to stick to the plan and rest. Today's run was "15 mins very easy", so I only popped out for one and a half miles, and took it deliberately slowly. It feels like a bit of a step down from the runs I've been doing in the last couple of weeks, but I shall make up for it tomorrow!

Anyway, it was still VERY cold today, and though not icy underfoot it was misty and rather chilly to want to run too long. I must be mad wanting to get out in this weather, mustn't I? What do you think?!?!

Definitely mad! Keep up the good work.

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
