Any more carrot and you'll have to call me Jasper...

carrots, carrots, getcha luvly carrots 'ereI bought a net of horse carrots from Wantage market on Saturday, for £2.50 (which turns out to be a bargain as there were 10kg!) They make perfectly good juice, which tastes great, so I'll be a regular customer there from now on...

After that I went magazine delivering with my wife, and we spent about 3 hours delivering 500 of them.

A well earned day off yesterday, and this evening just a short run out to try my new half-mile course... as I've decided to take Fit2Run's advice and do daily 5 minute runs to increase my speed and give me a good base upon which to develop my running skills.

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
