Cool runnings

Distance: 3 miles
Time: 28m36s
Mile 1 - 9m44s
Mile 2 - 9m38s
Mile 3 - 9m14s

An early run today, I was up and out of the house by 9.30am for a gentle three mile jog. It felt like I was flying round on the first lap, but that was just because it was cold, and it was a bit of a shock to the system I think to be up early and out running in the chill breeze. At 9am lying in bed I was thinking that perhaps I should have a day off today, but soon decided that that's not the spirit, and I want to keep the Christmas pounds from sneaking their way on when I'm not looking! So it was worth it to get out and run, in spite of the cold weather today.

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
