Passed the 300 mile er... milestone

Distance: 4 miles
Time: 36m30s
Mile 1 - 9m11s
Mile 2 - 9m24s
Mile 3 - 8m58s
Mile 4 - 8m57s

Having missed out on my "long" run yesterday due to the Santa Fun Run, I went out for a 4-miler at lunch today.I was planning to get a long run in yesterday evening, but it was too cold, and there was no way I was running on icy pavements in the dark.So a bit of a change round this week. Today a run, tomorrow a swim, cycling perhaps Thursday (again weather permitting!).

I headed out of Milton Park today, north to Sutton Courtenay, west to Milton village, and then south and east back into Milton Park for another mile round the block. A pretty good pace too. And I've now run over 300 miles since I began running last year.

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
