Ouch, I must cut my toenails!

Distance: 6 miles
Time: 58m47s
Mile 1 - 9m42s
Mile 2 - 10m02s
Mile 3 - 9m59s
Mile 4 - 10m00s
Mile 5 - 9m44s
Mile 6 - 9m20s

When I ran my first 6 mile run on December 31st last year, it took me 71 minutes.
This year I am 2 weeks ahead of that schedule, and today managed it over 2 minutes per mile faster. I just hope I can keep up this pace over the Christmas period, and not let myself get too full of mince pies and chocolate!

After a bowl of brown pasta, and a long hot bath, I clipped my nails and will have to make sure I remember to keep them short now, to avoid causing blisters when I go for long runs. One of my toes was definitely digging into another today, and that's not something I want to make a habit of.

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
