Today's swim was less fraught with obstacles than last week, and so I was able to get another few lengths in. My breathing seems a bit sporadic. Some lengths I get it right, and the 25m seems fairly easy. Other lengths seem more difficult, and I end up a bit out of breath at the end. But then I've been swimming "properly" (head down, only breathing every few strokes) for less than a year of my 30-odd years as a swimmer, so it still feels a bit unnatural to me to stick my head face down in the water without it feeling a little bit like I'm trying to drown myself!
