Sleeping through the day

Distance: 7.2m
Time: 30m07s
Avg speed: 14.3mph
Max speed: 28.7mph

I bought a bike carrier yesterday, to make the journey to work easier - I won't have to keep messing about taking the front wheel off and on and off and on. However a lazy morning in bed after a very late night out in Wolverhampton last night meant I wasn't up to deciphering the 20-minute assembly instructions this morning!

So in the back of the car with the the bike again, and off to Hanney this time. Now my cycling commute to work is over 7 miles each way (longer if I decide to avoid Steventon hill). I hope to be able to build up to cycling this route more regularly, so that I can see the benefit of savings in petrol, and of course keeping me fit too.

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
