Last swim ... until next week

Distance: 700m
Crawl: 28

Today I finished my "swim card" prepaid swimming sessions, so will be signing up again next week for another 10-for-the-price-of-9 (or is it 11-for-the-price-of-10? I can't remember).

The pool was busy again today. I almost went for 30 lengths, but decided that stopping at 28 gives me room for improvement next time!

A big improvement on when we used to go swimming-we thought we'd done well if managed double figures!

Keep up the good work-we'll all proud of you.

That's a very good point, thanks Heidi!!

Since I've been gradually increasing the number of lengths each week, I hadn't noticed how far I've actually progressed...

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
