Stop!! I'm not going anywhere...

Distance: 7.3m
Time: 32m13s
Avg speed: 13.6mph
Max speed: 28.9mph

This morning I felt pretty good, the weather was fine and I thought I'd be able to get to work in under half an hour from Hanney. It didn't feel windy today, so there were no hard stretches to overcome. Although maybe the same lack of wind meant there was nothing behind me to push me on either. Then when I hit Milton interchange there was a lot of traffic. Not great. Especially when some daft woman tried to pull out in front of me from the Milton Village turn...

So not a bad cycle in. My cycle computer is still being annoying however. Even stopped it has carried on recording. So now it reads that I've done 9.6 miles in 46 minutes, averaging 12.3mph and topping out at 76.3mph!

Running 13.1 miles in memory of Carl

I ran the Silverstone Half Marathon on 15th March 2009. I managed the 13.1 mile course in 2 hours and 4 minutes. Not a bad effort for my first Half Marathon! I returned in 2010 to run it in 1 hour 54 minutes, and plan to do it again in 2011. I decided to run this in aid of The PSC Trust and PSC Support in memory of my brother Carl, who died from liver failure in November 1997. If you'd like to sponsor me for this - please email me at pscrun@ulen.me.uk PSC Trust
